Marquise Bridal, Mojave

Brand new. Never worn. No alterations.

I bought this beautiful Mojave gown from The Ivory Room in Sydney — she’s covered in the most stunning beading and pearls, with a deep V neckline and a centre split that makes her surprisingly easy to move (and dance!) in. I also requested ivory tulle lining instead of nude, which softens the look and gives it a more classic, bridal feel.

She’s a standard size 10 and hasn’t been altered at all — I have a small bust and was planning to wear cups, but the fabric is well-structured with a little stretch and could easily be worn without. The train also has half a metre added for a bit of extra drama, and since it’s unhemmed, the length can still be tailored to your perfect height.

I didn’t get to wear her as we ended up having a much more low-key day — she just didn’t suit the elopement vibe. But she’s brand new, clean, and ready for her moment.

Full disclosure, the bride in the photos isn’t me — as I didn’t get to wear my gown, I’ve no photos of me in this gown. Therefore I’ve graciously borrowed images from another gorgeous Mojave bride who absolutely stole the show in hers, also with the custom ivory lining.
