I loved how the long straps hung around my shoulders so I kept them like that but you can certainly take them up and wear them up like how they were intended. I had the bodice lined but the bottom remained sheer. The cup was extended out for my DD bust size. More sturdy boning was added to keep the girls up while dancing all night long. A few beads are missing from the bottom but I have lots of extra fabric that any seamstress could steal from that to add back to the dress. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. I know you’ll love this dress as much as I did!
