The upper body section of the dress has sequins and beading that sparkle nicely under the light. The lower body section is flowy, smooth, and soft, while still maintaining a structured look. This dress is light, and doesn't make you feel like you're carrying weights around, if that's a consideration. I bought it as a back up option, and didn't end up using it after all.
