The Stephanie Allin Idol dress was the dress of my DREAMS. I cannot express in words how incredible I felt wearing this on our big day (can't think about it too much or I'll start to tear up). The quality of the crepe fabric blew me away when I first 'met' the dress. My style in everyday life is classic but very minimalistic so the gown as a whole felt like an elevated version of how I've always loved to dress.
The dress is in amazing condition but has a few tiny frays that your seamstress could easily fix (from having a boogie at the evening party). I looked after it as it was (and is) so precious to me.

Alterations
- I ordered the dress split sized (UK10 on top and UK12 below) which was perfect, keep in mind Stephanie Allin dresses fit small so this was more like a small 10 all over
- I then had minor alterations in the lead up to our wedding day to bring it in more as I lost some weight
- I have a small chest (I'm around a B cup size)so my wonderful seamstress sewed lifting cups into the dress- they are easy to remove but if you have a small chest like me, they created a gorgeous shape and I felt so confident
