Warrick Gautier

Designed and made by Warrick Gautier in Cape Town. Gautier has worked in fashion for over 28 years, with a studio in Cape Town and a showroom in Paris. His work has been worn by Bonang Matheba and Zozibini Tunzi, and shown at SA Fashion Week. He is known for mixing feminine and masculine lines — soft draping against structured tailoring.

This is a mermaid silhouette in lace, with hand-sewn crystal and pearl embellishments throughout. Halter neckline with a keyhole back and a floor-length train. The lace is imported, and every bead was placed by hand in Gautier's Cape Town atelier.

Worn once, in the Western Cape Winelands, in 2022. The dress has not been altered and has been professionally dry cleaned. No flaws, no wear. It is in the same condition as the day it was collected.

EU 32 / ZA 8. Measurements: Bust 85cm, Waist 68cm, Hips 86cm. Height with shoes: 180cm.
