The Dress

A gorgeous strapless, ballgown style wedding dress with ivory rose-patterned lace on a soft ivory tulle multi-layered base. The dress is floor length with a cascading skirt that naturally creates a train, ending in a scalloped edge. There is the slightest shimmer of gold thread through the lace which adds a tiny bit of sparkle. The dress has a deep v-shaped sweetheart neckline and a low back with satin buttons that go the whole way down the back of the dress to the very end of the skirt. The dress is highly boned/corseted which tightly cinches in the waist and is structured down to the very top of the hips to create a beautiful hourglass shape. Absolutely perfect condition and specialist dry-cleaned. The price is inclusive of the accompanying hoop undergarment (which gives the skirt the best structure and frees your feet to walk) plus a simple long, cut-edge veil (seen in photographs). Was purchased through Raffaele Ciuca Bridal in Armadale, Victoria (Melbourne).

Alterations

I am hourglass shaped and quite busty (bra size 8H) so I was required to order a size 14 to fit my bust which I modified down to my usual size, which is 8-10 AUS. I also accentuated the sweetheart neckline to make it a deeper v-shape (as opposed to a more traditional shallow heart shape).
