Alena Leena, Monstera

Absolutely adored this dress. It has beautiful shell details on the breast and corset boning. I felt confident and held together all day. The fabric is matte crepe, custom only (in Canada) to The Modern Bride in Guelph. Anywhere else the Monstera dress is silk, which I felt showed more lumps and bumps. This is an extremely flattering fabric, I did wear control underwear, no bra. You can even see some photos of the silk version on still white and see the difference.

Straps are removeable if you wanted to try it strapless. FYI I have a 34C bust and felt secure. I lift my breasts up occasionally throughout the day to get the best look. Back is a subtle v, mid rise.

It's substantial but not heavy, felt I could walk and dance in it. Got so many compliments, feels modern but not too trendy.

Its a beautiful ivory, rich tone, not stark white which I didn't like.

NOTE - this was the store sample. I couldn't get one made in time for my wedding as the designer is in Ukraine, so the store sold me the sample. It cleans extremely well, only one small nick in the back near the zipper which you can see in the video. This was how it was sold to me, you cant really see it, no one commented on it and I don't see it in any photos, even the raw ones.

It has been fully dry cleaned (pre as it was a sample, and post ceremony) by a bridal gown expert, this alone was $500 each clean.
