The Dress

I fell in love with this dress immediately. No other dress I looked at or tried on compared to this one.

It has a boned bodice so if you have an ample bossum to fill the cups, you are as free as a bird without worrying about a bra. I used a stick on bra at the last minute (boob tape failed miserably) and they filled the front fine.

This dress has an added little bow at the back to hang the train on when you are walking around (also known as a 'bustle'). But let the dress down when you want to sit, you don't want to rip the bow off by accident.

A soft and silky ivory stretch fabric lines this dress, making it very comfortable and easy to carry when kicking up your heels on the dance floor!

I was about 76-77kgs when I was wearing this dress. I am 167cm tall, but was wearing white espradrille slingback shoes under my dress, which gave me a bit of height. The dress was cut to length while wearing the shoes.

I felt like an absolute goddess in this dress. So elegant and classic. I got married in May when it was a little cooler in the evening, but I didn't need a shawl to keep me warm. The sleeves did their job well.

I bought the dress as a US-14 and was altered down because I lost weight about 8kgs. So it's more like a size 12 now. But you are welcome to come try it on if you live locally to Ipswich. Alterations

Taken up in the length, shoulders and in at the side to be more of a size 12 fit. Professional alterations cost me $745, on top of what I paid for the dress. Dry cleaning cost me $300 as well.
