I wore the Madi Lane Maddox gown only for my ceremony, and loved every minute of it. The gown is thick crepe with stretch and feels firm and comfortable. I bought the gown in May 2021 but we had to postpone the wedding until 2023 due to COVID.

Alterations

  • I had very minor alterations made by Vasiliki Couture and all are reversible; no material was cut
  • I had the bow sewn to the shoulder, the cape is still detachable as was original
  • I also had the gown taken in very slightly at the thigh and under the bum to accentuate the silhouette
  • I had a detachable belt made in the same material to cover the waist seem
  • I also had buttons added to the back over the invisible zip
