The Dress

Unworn custom made Park and Fifth Holloway gown. Handmade by seamstresses in their Vancouver shop, this was the dress of my dreams. Due to unforeseen health issues, I no longer feel confident and comfortable in the dress and have switched to something a-line. I am heartbroken as I truly envisioned myself in this dress, but I am hoping it will make another bride very happy.

Japanese crepe, thick but not too heavy. High thigh (slit) made the dress comfortable and airy (perfect for our beach wedding). Light boning in the top left me feeling secure in the dress, and the fabric is thick enough that I didn't need to wear a bra. Fuller chested ladies might want to add additional cups for support, but this is an easy add-on. Lena lace sleeves were custom made and detached but my intention was to add a button to the sides of the dress under the arms to attach and detach with ease for two looks in one!

Alterations: No structural alterations were made. I did add 20 superficial buttons to the back seam, starting at the top and ending just beneath the bum. The design team sent me extra buttons which I am happy to include. I am 5'3 and with 4' heels did not need to do any hemming to the dress.

Dress would could be taken in/let out anywhere from a 2-10 easily.

Message me if you have any questions about the gown! It is currently hanging in the original full length garment bag for safe keeping, and has only been worn once since arriving to try on.
