The Dress

Byron is designed for minimalists that still want to turn heads. Cut from Chosen by KYHA’s exclusive luxe bonded georgette, Byron is designed to sit effortlessly off the shoulder. A corseted bodice to waist creates a structured and timeless silhouette.

This dress is amazing, I bought this dress when I was 6 months postpartum and not feeling the best in my body. It has a beautiful thick fabric which doesn’t show the lumps and bumps like many other fabrics do. It has a slight stretch that hugs your body in the right places that makes you feel secure, it holds its shape and doesn’t crush.

The corseted bodice gives structure and support to the dress which can hardly be seen through the thick fabric. There is a zip at the back which extends to the top of the dress and buttons join the top piece which creates the one shoulder style.

- Would fit a size 10-12. The official dress size from Kyha was a size 5

- The fabric only needs to be cut to be made shorter if needed. No hemming needed as the fabric doesn’t fray

- The dress has been professionally dry cleaned at Leon’s Dry Cleaning in Brisbane ($700), and it has come back in an amazing condition. There are a few very light marks on the back around the edge of the train which could very easily be trimmed off if needed. They are hardly noticeable otherwise. PM for photos if needed.

Alterations

- The waist has been pulled in slightly

- The sides of the dress bought in to fit more firmly over the back.

- There were small stitches put in under the folded shoulder section, this kept it in place so it didn’t fold up or move

- a tie up bustle added in underneath the dress

- Bottom off the dress has been cut to sit just above the ground so I could easily walk and move around on the wedding day.

- I am 164cm and wore a short/medium size heel
