The Dress

Stunning Mariana Hardwick Rose dress, as seen all over Instagram and Pinterest! Purchased via Indie Grace Bridal in Northern Ireland, direct from Mariana Hardwick in Australia. Wedding was July 2023, ordered in August 2022 - there is a 9-12 month wait time for Mariana Hardwick dresses and I noticed that the Rose gown is discontinued on the website now. Custom made with my measurements: for context, I wear a UK 10/12 depending on the shop, and a 34E (or sometimes DD) bust. I’m 5’7 and the dress was made to allow for heel height - I wore the Harlo Australia Alexandra pearl shoes which are just slightly over 3 inches in height. I had the dress altered for my height as it was too long, so it’s been altered to just skim the floor based on my height in those shoes. Measurements: Waist size: 29 inches Hips: 34 inches (but I don’t think that will matter as the dress is ballgown so flows out anyway) Under bust: 30 inches Bust: 39 inches The dress has a built in bra which gives great support. I also chose to have buttons added to the back.

Alterations

A few inches were taken off the end as it was way too long on me, even in heels!
