Riki Dalal ‘Kiev’ couture dress from the brand’s metropolitan collection. Was made in Ukraine custom to fit me (I’m a street size 00 usually and about 5 ft 4 inches tall, and I wore 4 inch heels on my wedding day).

I wore it on my wedding day and the day afterward for a second photoshoot in Paris. Retails for about $5k. I still have my purchase receipt. Purchased at the brand’s boutique in the Bay Area (Walnut Creek).

Dress is ivory with silver glitter floral details all over and a long glamorous train. It’s semi-sheer which looked absolutely amazing. I wore nude colored underwear which was perfect and no bra. The off the shoulder sleeves have some elastic/stretch in them so it’s easy to move around, although I didn’t try dancing in it as I had another reception dress for the party. (My husband and I had an elaborate dance planned so I needed more freedom of movement… it would be fine to dance in if you were doing a simple dance!)

I had a bustle installed ($400) by an expert seamstress in Walnut Creek, CA (near where I bought the dress at the boutique). The bustle includes three very small hooks and looks really beautiful with the train bustled up. Let me know if you want photos of it bustled. I got no other alterations on the dress because it was made perfectly for me.

I got SO many compliments from people saying this dress was the most beautiful they have ever seen, and photos of the dress went viral on the r/weddingdress subreddit. It catches the light so beautifully as well. I hate to sell it but will be moving internationally next year and can’t see myself moving it around with me forever, so I would rather share the love!
