The Dress

Selling my dream dress, Luci Di Bella one shoulder silk wedding gown.

This gown was custom made by Luci and the team out of multiple layers of Ivory silk organza, to give a light and flowy look without the volume or weight of a large skirt. While this fabric is delicate, it was absolutely gorgeous to wear and felt very flattering not being skin tight. The sizing is a true 8 to the bodice, and to fit a size 10 around the hips/thighs. The dress uses an invisible zip to the bodice, concealed press studs to the top of the skirt, and a hidden eyelet to close the collar, with a split remaining in the collar to allow movement. The dress has bra cups sewn into the dress, so no bra required and they used flexible boning in the bodice to hold shape, which was extremely comfortable to wear (and far more comfortable than any of the other boned dresses I tried beforehand). I was able to wear this dress all night through a sit down dinner and dancefloor and didn't want to take it off at the end of the night! This gown really was a dream to wear and I hope someone else can get as much happiness out of this dress as I did!

This dress has been professionally dry cleaned by Sydnal's Bridal Drycleaners, picked up early August and has been stored in protective garment bag since. The dress came back impeccably well with all minor marks from the night removed.

Flaws/wear and tear:
- Collar stitching has come undone and needs to be restitched. This was lightly stitched on at the final dress fitting as not to , and unfortunately came unstuck at the end of the evening and multiple hours on the dancefloor...
- Bustle button came off during the evening and needs to be replaced
- Hanging ribbons were cut off for wear on the day, temporary ones have been added for dress storage.
