I fell in love with this dress for the fabric - "liquid satin". It's comparable to the look of silk and just as comfortable and delicate. I included photos of wear on the hem that I believe could be easily trimmed off (it even hung a little too long on me). The skirt can be both more fitted or flare out into more of an a-line. The bodice was another favorite detail of mine and it stayed in place all night without any special lingerie or fabric tape.
