The Lucia blouse has a structured Corset bodice. It is a Silk Crepe material. Featuring unforgettable, airy Silk Organza sleeves with playful ruffles for the most flattering portrait-neckline. The matching skirt is a gorgeous silk crepe with a classy slit to match.

You wouldn't know it was a two piece unless you lift your arms. I personally liked a small amount of skin showing in the gap. The dress was fitted and would suit anyone from size au 8 - 12 (US6). It suited the retro theme of our wedding perfectly as the style of the dress was a contemporary vintage with the corset detail at the back. I felt so comfortable in this outfit all night, there was no need to change into another outfit. Truly in love with this dress and I am sad to let it go!

Alterations

The skirt:
This was hemmed in the front so it wouldn’t drag on the floor and so I didn't trip over it
It was brought in slightly around my bottom for a more flattering fit
A bustle and wrist loop were added for optional wearability (the thread for the bustle broke off, button still in tact)
There are some faint stains present on the lower part of the back of the skirt
The skirt could be altered to have the train cut down as it's long (I have more photos of the detail of the skirt if requested)
The end could also be trimmed to suit a shorter person
It has received a full dry cleaning treatment
I personally decided not to put it through a peroxide bath soak due to the nature of the delicate fabric
It is possible to soak this if you wish to discuss this with your dry cleaner
The top:
This was not altered however cups were added for extra bust support
