The Dress

Stella York Helena dress, purchased in April 2023 and worn once. I am typically a size 8 in women's shirts and pants, but ordered a size 12 dress (because their sizing is ridiculous) and had alterations done.

Alterations:
- A cups sewn in (I am usually a B cup but it fit great)
- Silhouette changed to fit my measurements (above): please note, the dress fit me snug but was in no way tight. The fabric itself is quite stretchy and I had no problems moving, bending, jumping, etc.
- Length shortened to be foot length (so I wouldn't trip, I'm 167cm and wore 5.5cm heels - it just grazed my toes)
- Sides of the train were cut off so that instead of a big round train it's a thinner, longer train
- Bustle added; train can be hooked onto button on the back of dress. I attached it to the bottom button and it fell to exactly the length of the dress. Super light and out of the way, I loved it.

The dress is amazingly light and stretchy, and truly stunning. I had a slight gap looking down between my boobs because I didn't tape very well, but it was hardly noticeable and some good tape would stick it down!
