The Dress

Gorgeous, beaded, one-of-a-kind hand made gown with internal corset and incredibly stunning details. After finding a dress I went to look at after party dresses at a small boutique in Colorado. The owner showed me this dress and I called a few trusted friends and agreed I had to get it for my ceremony dress. My original dress is a beautiful and simple satin gown that was very me - I never expected to end up in something that had lace, beading, or sparkle, but this dress does it in a way that is elegant, unique, and not overbearing. My bridesmaids agreed that it reminded them of a mix of Kate Bock's wedding gown and something off the Balmain runway.

This dress is the only one of its kind that has ever been made, the shop owner worked with a designer in Italy to make her vision come to life. I took it home that day and had it minimally altered (length only, but I am 6ft with heels).

This dress shines beautifully in the light, has so many amazing details, and my guests could not stop talking about it to me, my husband, and my mom. My wedding planner, alterations woman, and a friend who is a bridal designer all could not believe that I found this dress at a small boutique in Colorado.

I wore a shell underneath it to fully cover my tattoos but it is not attached. If you are looking for something very modest you can achieve it by taking the same approach I did, sew in a liner, etc. or if you're looking to show more skin you can go without. I truly think it is so beautiful both ways. Small tear in train.

As much as I love this dress I know I will never have a change to wear it again, so I hope it makes someone else as happy as it made me!
