This dress is truly stunning in person, the photos do not do it justice. It has the perfect mix of elegance, sparkle, and timeless bridal beauty. I received so many compliments on it, and several people even thought I had purchased it in Europe.
One of my favorite features is the detachable full skirt. Without it, the dress has a more sleek and classic look; with it, it becomes dramatic, romantic, and truly show-stopping. It gives you the best of both worlds for ceremony, photos, and reception.
The dress was professionally altered to make it more modest, with alterations totaling approximately $1,700. I also purchased additional matching fabric and appliqués directly from the designer so the modifications would blend beautifully with the original gown. The neckline and back were covered with appliqué detailing, the sleeves were shortened, and a bustle/pin was added in the back for easier walking.
I absolutely loved this dress and felt so elegant and confident wearing it. It is a very special gown and would be perfect for someone looking for a classy, modest, and glamorous bridal look.
