Rue De Seine, Amos

Amos dress by Rue de Seine from their 2022 Mountain Song collection. "Openwork lace gown with textural contours and soft plunge neckline with under-bust trim."

This is a plunge neck, sheath dress, made of soft open lace, and lined with stretchy silk making it very comfortable to wear. It has a beautiful train that shows off the floral detailing of the lace. The dress has built in cups and mesh at the bust for ease of wear. There's also mesh at the sides of the bodice as well (along sides of torso) for aesthetics.

My tailor added 3 buttons and loops for an American bustle, but still left a good bit of length to get some nice movement on the dress. The dress also has a dancing loop on the left side, but I ended up just holding the train over my arm (as shown in one of the photos) until we bustled it just before dinner. Included a video so you can see the movement when bustled.

Purchased at Alive in Ivory in Chicago in October 2022 and worn for my September 2023 wedding.

I am 5'6 and wore 3 inch heels. I typically wear a size 6-8 in street clothes, size 27-28 pants, 34C bra.

Professionally dry cleaned upon returning home from the wedding. No damage or visible signs of wear.

I absolutely loved wearing this dress, I felt so confident and beautiful! It hugs curves in all the right places and the way they work the lace completely contours the body - incredible. Hope to let another bride enjoy the magic of this dress rather than have it sit in my closet forever :)

I also have a cathedral length veil that I completely forgot to wear down the aisle! It's 1 layer and sheer, so you can still see the lace pattern of the dress through it. Happy to include that since I have no use for it.
