The Dress
Beautiful fit and flare Demetrios dress with stunning train.
Dress was worn in September 2023 and has been cleaned and preserved since.
Alterations
Designer's Alterations:
1. Front body was sheer. This was filled in to be ivory. Note the back is still sheer.
2. The dress had a fairly deep V. It was closed off to be a more modest V.
Tailoring Alternations:
1. Hem was altered to my height.
2. Straps were taken up slightly.
3. Push up bra cups added (easily removable).
4. Bustle added.
5. The train had 3 layers previously. I removed the two under layers so that only the sheer/beaded layer remained. I did this to make the dress much more lightweight when bustled.
