The Dress

Vintage Lace Ballgown Ivory multi way dress with a 0.3m train.
Size: 1 (fits US size 6-12, equivalent of AUS size 10-16).
This dress is a discontinued model from Australian designer Goddess by Nature. It is essentially the same as the Goddess by Nature signature multi way ballgowns that are often worn for bridesmaid dresses. It has the polyester/lycra stretchy type material underneath (covers the full length of the skirt, and part of the top long strap parts that make the bodice) and a floral lace layer over the top (which makes the skirt a bit heavier than the signature style). It also has a small 0.3m train added.

I wore it in 2019 when I was a size 8-10 (sorry I don't have measurements from the time), but it would fit anyone sized US 6-12/AUS 10 - 16 according to the Goddess by Nature website. I have a small bust, and wore it with a stick on bra. You would need to wear at least wear nipple covers under it, as without anything the top is a little sheer and you can see your nipples.

I found the dress comfortable, and chose it as I'd worn one of the multi way ballgowns as a bridesmaid at a friend's wedding. You can wear the top in many different configurations, which gives you the option to wear it how you like or how you feel comfortable, or alternatively if you want to change it up throughout the day (but don't want a whole new dress) you can change how it's worn for a different look. It was warm enough to wear to our Autumn (May) wedding in Canberra. Being an Autumn wedding, I did get a lot of Autumn leaves stuck in the bottom of the lace skirt. The dress has been dry cleaned, and stored in a special bug resistant bridal box since 2019. There are still a few very tiny bits of leaves present (they would be able to be carefully removed), and are not very obvious/ don't detract from the dress, and there are some abrasions to the lace along the bottom of the skirt (no tears or staining though).

I wore with flats and am about 176cm tall (without shoes). If you are shorter it may need to be hitched up at the top (waist part) of the skirt or taken up.

I would love for my dress to find a new home and someone who can enjoy wearing it as much as I did.
