It has pockets(!) and a slit over the right leg to keep it modern and fun.
Dress has been altered (more info below) and professionally dry cleaned.

Alterations

I had the dress altered from a size 8 to closer to a size 6 - the bodice and bust was made smaller
There was a non-slip band put around the inside of the bodice to stop it slipping down without straps
There was also a thick elastic strap with a clasp (looks like a bra) inserted on the inside of the bodice to keep it tightly fitted to stop it from slipping down without straps
The front of the skirt was also taken up to make it shorter but the back of the skirt was left for a train
From the waist to the front of the skirt is 110cm
