When I was shopping for my wedding dress, I wanted to make sure it was:
1) Comfortable - I was not going to change dresses between my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception so I needed to make sure it was comfortable enough for me to feel good the whole day.
2) Simple - I didn't want something that felt too lavish
3) Special - but I also didn't want something that was too vanilla / looked like everything else on the market

As a nice to have, I also wanted to find a dress that would go well with my wedding venue, which was outdoors with a forest and a water background.

I had tried on probably about a dozen other dresses, with lukewarm to warm responses, before I tried on this dress. When I put it on, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. Although it was a little more expensive than the other options I had, this was perfect for the day -- flatting in all the right parts but also free enough for me to feel special and mobile at the right times. It has delicate designs but isn't over the top; an understated elegance. I didn't have to suck in my tummy all day because the dress covers it all and there's no worries of the dress slipping down.

This dress is perfect for the fellow 5'5" (give or take) ladies out there with moderate / small breasts and generally wears size 4 dresses. I wore my birks all day, which gave me 1-2 inches of height that I was comfortable all day.

The dress is dry cleaned and in a protective sleeve.
