This is a stunning and modern ivory Stella York style 6988 size 9 v-neckline matte mikado bodice with thin straps and a wide waistband flowing into a tiered tulle ballgown skirt. It has a low back with a zip covered by buttons on the waistband.

I ordered it new this year for my wedding in late August 2023 and I felt absolutely beautiful in it. It is very comfortable and easy to wear. I wore it from my ceremony up to the first dance (as I changed into a different dress for the reception). As such, I wore it for eight hours total on my wedding day.

The dress has since been professionally dry-cleaned and is in excellent condition. The dress is perfect other than two tiny (3mm x 2mm) marks on the underskirt that are not visible when wearing.

Alterations

The dress was altered for me by a seamstress, comprising small adjustments to the overall length at the front so I could walk forward more easily (my shoes were four inches high); shortening the straps by two inches; and then adding a bustle (additional button at the back added as a loop to hook train up slightly when walking)
Finally, small loops were added to the back to cover the very short zip more elegantly
