The Dress

The dress is champagne satin, with an overlay of off-white lace and beads. Fine tuille fluffs out the skirt. I wore it with a medium sized hoop, but you could go without for a slimmer style. I have the hoop so it's included in the price.

The flower is pinned on. It is corseted, lace up the back, with 1/2 inch satin ties. This could be replaced with an invisible zip for a different finish. I'd planned to do this but broke my arm a month out from the wedding so kept it adjustable (exercise plan went out the window!)

When my friend saw me walking down the aisle her eyes popped out of her head. She'd bought the same dress and was getting married the next month. She added small lace sleeves that looked really beautiful.

I had a really great time in it, it was comfy to wear and I didn't have to keep pulling it up all night. There is a hook to one side to hold up the small train for later in the night.

I am 162cm tall and wore a 10cm heel. With a smaller heel or smaller or no hoop, someone taller could wear it.

There is a tuck to make the dress more fitted around the hip at the back. You can keep it or easily undo for a looser fit. The dress had about 2 inches taken from the hem. The lace at the very bottom of the dress is slightly discoloured.
