The Dress

Stunning Octavia bridal gown from Vera Wang, a true dream dress for every bride-to-be! I fell in love with this dress the second I tried it on at Musette Bridal Boutique in Boston.

I immediately loved the sweetheart neckline and fitted tulle bodice because they slim the waist and shows off the figure. In the meantime, the full skirt with ruched tulle overlay is very soft, massive, and puffy. I ended up choosing it for my big day. The dress is breathtaking, my husband cried like a baby seeing me walking down the aisle in it:)

I felt like an absolute princess in this gown and received endless compliment from all our families and friends. I hope it can bring someone as much happiness as it brought me!

The dress comes already with multiple hooks at the waistline so the beautiful train can be bustled. Worn for literally 3 hours at my wedding in July 2022. I changed into another dress for the reception (I’m selling that one too).

The very last layer of tulle has some discoloration on the bottom edges. This is from me walking outside for photo shooting. There is also a tiny tear on the 4th layer of tulle from where I tripped in my heels. None of this is seen unless you lift up every layer to get to the bottom. And if the dress was altered for a shorter height, the flaws would be cut off.

Has been professionally dry cleaned.
Comes with original Vera Wang garment bag.
Veil in the photos can be included at no additional cost if desired (veil is NOT from Vera Wang).

Sizing:
I am 5’6 and I had the dress altered to accommodate 4-inch heels.
For reference, I usually wear street size US2 tops and size 27 jeans.
Bust 34
Waist 26
Hips 37 (doesn’t really matter because it’s a ballgown)

Alterations

I added straps but didn’t end up using them. They can be easily clipped on/take off.

I am 32D and had padded inserts sewn in so I wouldn’t have to worry about a bra. They can be cut out.

The very outer overlay of patterned ruched tulle was removed because I don’t want the dress to be too fluffy. These pieces can be added back on to various spots on the skirt.

Added corset tie back inside of the dress to emphasize waist curve.
