The Ball Tie is a classic Westwood silhouette, created in sumptuous heavy silk satin. A structured corset enhances the décolletage, whilst two lengths of georgette overlay the corset top, to drape across the arms or tie at the back, creating a subtle hourglass figure gliding over the hips and sweeping to the floor.

Can also tie the georgette drape under your arms for a strapless effect, for dancing or dinner.

This is in perfect condition, other than a some dirt round the hem which can easily be taken out with dry cleaning. I can send photos if required.

I am a UK 6, 5.4'' tall and with a size C bust. The dress is size UK 10 but comes up very small, please see measurements attached. I kept the dress very long intentionally.

The original Vivienne Westwood canvas garment bag and hanger is included.

Sold out around the UK and so I ordered this from Italy.

Alterations

I had the hem taken up
I am 5.4'' tall but kept the dress very long intentionally
I wore 4 inch heels
It had minor alterations at the bust to take this in, as it came up very wide
I am a C bust and it was still loose enough after the alterations
Two elasticated straps and a couple of hooks and eyes were sewn into the inside of the corset to make it more secure
Two invisible poppers were sewn onto the georgette drape at the point that it was tied at my back so that it fell beautifully and I was not worried about it coming undone
These can easily be removed
