I felt amazing in this dress on my wedding day! It was so lightweight and comfortable and flowed beautifully in the breeze. The subtle pattern was perfect for someone who wanted a plain dress with a little pizzaz. Dry cleaned immediately after wedding and it’s currently preserved in a blue bag on a bust (the step below a full preservation in a box) and is currently being stored in a windowless temperature controlled closet. I wore this dress for our ceremony and first dance and then changed into another dress for the reception.

I am 5’5” and 120lbs and usually wear size 2 and the 0 fit here quite well. Does not follow traditional wedding dress sizing where you size up - this design is much more similar to your street size.

I have a matching ivory pearl veil and an ivory denim jacket with Pearl sleeves if anyone is also interested in those!

Alterations

Hemmed 3.5” off the front (photo of the fabric scrap) to work for my 5’5” physique with 3” heels
It was still a little long for me cut to this length so think it’d work for someone slightly taller
No length was removed from the train
I also added a (removable) ballroom bustle which is where the dress tucks under
I bustled it for our first dance but there is also a wrist strap (pictured twirling) which was great for walking around
I used a very highly rated and highly sought after seamstress for these minor alterations (Cheryl Jackson, Rye NH)
