I bought this as a sample sale but then fell in love with a different dress. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, just going a different direction. I'm 5'10 and it fits me perfectly so you'll have all the room to shorten it. It swishes like a bell and will fulfill all your ball gown fantasies. It doesn't come with a sash, but the model inspired me so I tried it with a black ribbon and think it adds such a nice touch.
