Romantic Botanical and Butterfly Print Off-The-Shoulder Billowing Sleeved Ball Gown Wedding Dress.

From the Monique Lhuillier Bridal Fall 2021 collection, this is the Tuileries gown (aka the J-LO People Magazine dress style.)

The dress is incredibly well made, as you would expect from this designer. It has a boned corset top that creates a cinched waistline. The sleeves fall off the shoulders and have a slight elastic element at the wrist that you can adjust to your preference. The skirt features two elements: the overskirt that you see is organza (very light weight and flows beautifully), which is supported by the signature Monique Lhuillier structured short skirt. This over/under skirt combination gives the illusion of a full skirt without the weight allowing you to move easily. The slit on the side is gorgeous, but it can easily be closed for a more uniform appearance if you prefer.

The dress is a wedding dress size 10 and fit me perfectly. I typically wear a 4/6 or small in tops and dresses and a 6/8 or medium in pants and skirts. I am 5’ 6” and wore 2” heels.

I loved wearing this dress and felt beautiful all night long. Bonus points that it was so comfortable and easy to wear that I ended up never changing into my reception dress.
