J Mendel Vintage-Inspired Wedding Dress

This exquisite dress is for the non-traditional bride who wants something truly extraordinary. Customized and purchased from J.Mendel's flagship store on Madison Ave New York, this dress is a custom version of the gun-metal contour gown from the [removed] collection. It is reminiscent of 1930s ballgowns.

This gown is a beautiful example of J. Mendel's signature architectural construction and sleek silhouette. The pale gold metallic wool-silk fabric has weight and flow and feels extraordinary on the body. The highly emphasized bodice and articulated seams offer a point of difference and draw the eye to the most flattering parts of the silhouette.

This dress was custom made and was not released as part of the larger J Mendel collection.

There is an invisible zip on the back of the dress. The train has internal ties so you can shorten the dress if required.

Colour: Champagne fabric with fine gold thread, giving an overall pale gold shimmery effect.

Fabric: 54% wool, 34% silk, 12% polyethylene gold thread. 100% silk lining

Bodice: full internal bodice with bra-strap clasps

Condition: Outstanding condition with no marks. Has been professionally dry cleaned and stored in a cardboard Bridal Chest with acid-free tissue. Will be shipped from Melbourne in a gown bag.
