My Sima Couture Wedding Dress is called 'Penelope' and is from their Istanbul Collection.
It was purchased from Brides in Love in 2023, to be worn once on my wedding date, 16 September 2023.
The 'Penelope' has a simplistic, minimalistic vibe, simultaneously bestowing, yet a grand presence. The style is a mesmerizing gown and includes crystal beading on the bodice to give it a subtle touch. The gorgeous off-the-shoulder made the Wedding Dress a classic and romantic design. A lot of tulle is underneath the gown to give it volume and impact. Given the amount of fabric, it was quite reasonably weighted. 'Penelope' was Professionally Dry Cleaned by My Dress Box Pty Ltd sent on the 16 October 2023 and arriving home on the 16 December 2023 in pristine condition. Now, on the 16 January 2024, I have uploaded her onto Still White for another bride to honour, instead of letting her sit in the closet.

- Hem at the front to be of floor length, when wedding shoes are worn
- The split on the left side to show left leg was made to be a bit cheeky
- This is not in the original design
- The back bodice was made lower to showcase more skin, originally it was high and straight across
- The Wedding Dress train length was kept as original, but added three beautifully blended hooks, to bustle the back of the train for dancing and movement
