This is Amsale’s first, iconic design A101 custom made for me with a ball gown skirt. It has an illusion back with satin buttons and hand rolled satin rosettes. When I recently took it out of the box from professionally being preserved, I discovered three small stains at the top of the skirt near the waist. I believe they are red wine. The cleaner I trust said she did not think they could be removed. I tried to clean the dress myself which caused the skirt to shrink about 1/4”. The fabric is gorgeous silk satin and could be used for another purpose. The dress also has a lot of crenoline which could be removed for extra length.
