The Dress

The Monique Lhuillier Lovely is a gorgeous sculpted off the shoulder, natural waist, lace ball gown with 3/4 length sleeves.

True to the quintessential fit of Monique gowns, the corset bodice is great underneath the lace gown. The off the shoulder long sleeves transitions softly into a deep v-neckline. The subtly sheer skirt is lined in a nude lining. The gown has been altered, worn, and dry cleaned, and one appliqué needs to be restitched. Can email image of appliqué, please note it's very very small.

This dress is for a smaller waisted, larger busted lady, the measurements are unique for someone of this body shape, the tailoring was expertly completed by Monique Lhuillier atteliers. We bought a larger dress to accommodate bust and then tailored it to my body shape. So I am hoping this dress finds its way to a person who hasn't been able to find something off the rack with unique measurements.

Bust: 39"
Cup Size: G Cup
Waist: 32"
Hips: 40" Height: 5ft 3

Please note I wore this with 5 inch platform heels, they had 1 inch on the front of the shoe and 5 inches total heel height. So the dress is being worn with a total height of 5ft 8. However due to the high low cut, I feel this work for a variety of heights. Especially shorter ladies.

Alterations

Waist and sleeves taken in, hemmed in the front so shoes can be seen, opened bust to accommodate larger cup size. Sleeves were attached permanently.

Custom Modifications in Production:
- Raised Center Front V-Neck 2" to accommodate cup size
- Opened Bust Cup
- Raise Top Edge 2" to accommodate cup size and blended into sleeve
- Made Sleeves Permanent and Not Detachable

Custom Modifications made in Alterations:
- Shortened Front hem
- Shortened Train Length
- Removed some volume in Skirt
- Altered to Body Measurements in waist and back.
