The Dress

I always knew I wanted my look to be a little bit different (so the blazer was a must for me!), comfort was a MUST, something that would evolve throughout the night (yet I didn’t want two dresses as such so the two piece set allowed me to play with my look throughout the day).

Mariam was incredible at helping me to bring the whole vision to life and I couldn’t be happier with the end result! The various components made this look really unique, yet the classic foundations are there and ready for you to make your own.

We created a beautiful classic full skirt that was slightly raised at the front for a 1920’s Dior nod, and to subtly show off my shoes, and a thick waist band to accentuate this feature for me. The crop perfectly compliments the skirt with beautiful button and opening detail at the back. It was super supportive with a built in lining so I did not need to wear a bra (I’m a 32B for reference). Worn together, with our without the vail, this is a beautiful classic look with a slightly modern twist.

I’ve decided to sell the beautiful skirt, crop and vail as I’ve always loved the idea of my look being sustainable and bringing joy to someone else in the future. It was raining on our wedding day (something we somehow did not plan for… but made for a very memorable day!!) so I didn’t use the vail in the end.

As such, the vail is brand new and unused and the skirt and crop are in great condition. As you can imagine, there are some marks on the underside of the skirt but you could have this cropped off if you weren’t as tall as me or wanted to shorten the skirt/train. I’ve had both items professionally dry cleaned.

For reference I’m [removed]cm) and a size 6 AUS. If you’re not as tall, you could easily get the skirt altered accordingly.
