NOTES: I measured closer to a size 6/8 for the dress however I decided to size up when ordering due to my hips. My alteration measurements were Bust 35", Waist 28", Hips 41". My typical bra size if 32B. If you're a true size 8 I think this dress would fit perfectly. Out of all the dresses I tried on, this was the most comfortable. Super comfortable to sit, eat and dance in. I didn't have to wear shapewear, I simply wore nipple covers. I made every effort to keep this dress as clean as possible and barely ever put the train down aside from our couple's photos. The buttons on the back are a beautiful detail, but I am super glad it was all for the detail and for convenience I could get in & out of the dress with a zipper.
