Selling my intended wedding dress - never worn by me as my wedding was cancelled by you-know-what and she now doesn’t fit me.
I was a retail size 14-16 at the time. My height is 163cm.

My favourite part of this dress was the train. I felt like a glorious white peacock walking along with it rustling behind me 🥰

This dress was bought secondhand from Secret Lace, so she has had one prior owner, but you’d never know it! She is immaculate.
My seamstress mum has lovingly and professionally altered the length and the bustling system of this dress to be more effective- originally came with just one button on it to bustle which still left a lot to trail and get dirty.
There were also decorative buttons all down the centre back which we removed (the actual fastening is with a zip). We still have the buttons and they could easily be reattached by the buyer.

Lainee Hermsen Bridal was forced to close down due to economic impact and you cannot buy her dresses new anymore. She was Nelson-based. I don’t know much about the dress’ history prior to me purchasing it but it is a rarity for sure!
