This gown is an Anthropologie Weddings exclusive.

The Preston wedding gown features romantic details including a delicately draped sweetheart neckline and a pleated waistline, cascading romantically into a chapel train, studded with a top-to-bottom suite of delicate buttons. A beautiful corset illusion back adds intrigue, and a daring, sky-high slit conveys confidence (and an intention to dance later!).

I adored this dress but found a different one to wear for my big day. This dress was purchased in May 2023, never worn, and is in perfect condition. Very slight alterations are detailed below. No length was removed. Garment bag will be included.

Alterations

The only alterations were:
(1) the waist was taken in 1/2 an inch;
(2) the hanger straps were replaced so that they are attached at the waist rather than the armpit (so they are hidden when worn and allow the dress to be held fully straight up on the hanger); and
(3) the zipper was reinforced so it’s easier to zip up
No length was hemmed
I am 5’8 and planned to wear 3 inch heels, and there was plenty of fabric available
Great for tall brides, but plenty of room to hem if you’re shorter
