The Dress
The beautiful pewter embroidery continues over the bodice, down the front panel and down the full length of the train.
The train has buttons to bustle it up for the dancefloor and in transit. When bustled, the embroidered detail looks spectacular from the back and catches the light in photos.
The dress is beautiful to wear especially with a double hoop petticoat to get the full effects of the detail in the skirt.
The dress was dry cleaned and has been boxed with tissue paper ever since.
Alterations
Dress has been taken up at the bottom hem but there is plenty of material to let it down again. Also taken in slightly at the bust.
