This dress was designed and made by Sant Elia. It is an off the shoulder pleated tulle dress with detachable ‘wings’.

The bodice has exposed boning that is overlaid with soft tulle. The bottom of the dress was heavily layered with pleated tulle to create a skirt that was full and airy when you walk.

The designer was inspired by the pleated tulle fabric and wanted to created a light yet sculptural moment. Lots of texture, layering and manipulation of the fabric to complement and shape the body. Hand draped details on the bodice that flowed into off the shoulder sleeves. Detachable angel wings in pleated tulle and a soft English tulle gave the look and ethereal touch. Given there was no beading we incorporated pearl buttons to add a bit of detail.
