A classic, elegant design that I thoroughly enjoyed wearing for my wedding. I was looking for something with a simple A-line cut that showed off my back. I loved the buttons all the way down the skirt - such a lovely detail.

I bought this dress second-hand for $1900, but I estimate it was originally about $3900 (based on the average price of this brand of gown). I do not know the year it was made. The dress feels so luxurious against the skin since it's 100% silk. If you're looking for something that is understated, yet sophisticated and flattering, then this is the dress for you!

The dress was altered to fit me, and I'm about a size 8. The dress was originally a size 10. I also had the dress hemmed (I'm 5'7" in flats, which I wore for the wedding) and had cups put into the bodice.

The dress was easy to dance in, although the finger loop at the end of the skirt that allowed me to hold up the skirt broke at the end of the night. This would be very easy to repair. This dress could also take a bustle, although I chose not to have one. This dress has been professionally cleaned!
