This was one of the first dresses that caught my eye when I started my search for the type of dress I wanted to get married in. I went to a local bridal boutique here in Dubai and despite trying on many beautiful dresses, none of them fitted quite right and didn’t leave me feeling like any were “my” dress – either they just didn’t fit properly or were uncomfortable or just not me. I left feeling so despondent. I wanted something timeless and elegant as well as comfortable. I eventually went back to my home country with no dress just 2 weeks before our wedding. I contacted one of the more well known and well reputed bridal stores and just my luck they had this exact dress I had seen when I first started my search – it was like it was meant to be! The moment I tried it on, I knew it was for me and had that “say yes to the dress moment” that everyone talks about! This was the most comfortable wedding dress I tried on, with the underneath being quite stretchy material, it fits perfectly and hugs you in all the right places. I had the most incredible wedding with so many compliments and quite a few (happy) tears. This dress is one in a million and I would love for another bride feel as confident, beautiful and happy as I felt in it.

Label size was a UK size 8, but we did alterations to make it bigger (as they didn’t have my size in stock). I’m usually a size UK 10-12
