Measurements
This is a vintage 1950's/60's genuine Priscilla of Boston peau de soie silk wedding gown with lace and pearl beading. It has an empire waist with the train flaring from between the shoulder blades in the back. The sleeves are 3/4 length bell shaped with a delicate bow detail. A very elegant and unique style. It is in good condition, but does have a few stains on the inner lining that are not visible. It has been dry cleaned twice (once before and once after I wore it in 1992) and has been kept in a museum quality storage box with acid free paper. The box has always been kept in its original linen shroud and has always been stored inside (no storage units). There is no sizing on the dress, but I was a size 2 when I originally wore it and now am a size 4 (still fits). I am 5'4" and am not wearing shoes in these pictures. I am an 'A' cup, so you may need alterations if you have a larger bust. This dress is a joy to wear and very comfortable. I kept this dress just in case my daughter wanted to wear it. However, she is now engaged and has chosen another dress that she loves. I would love for someone to enjoy wearing this dress as much as I did.
