This beautiful classic crepe floor length gown drapes smoothly and confidently in the front but wait till you see the back! Wedding guests were in awe as the bride walked down the aisle, noting the sheer beauty of the back of the dress. The back has sheer appliquéd lace from neck to rear closing with 36 tiny covered buttons and hooks. (all buttons are in place-none missing. Extras included). Appliquéd lace with a nude lining continues to fountain down the back, resulting in a beautiful chapel length train.
With an empire waist, the dress fits like a glove and shows off with a fitted bust, low V neck and smart fitted capped sleeves. For dancing, the gown can be lifted above the train and fasted with buttons, right behind the knees. (see photo)

The gown was very comfortable to wear. The fabric, crepe, is slightly stretchy and soft. The bride is 5'5" and wore flat shoes. The gown was the perfect length. (if you're a bit shorter, you can wear heels). The bride loves the classic style, but the element of surprise with a sheer lace back, fit her personality perfectly! This is what makes this dress so unique. "Business in the front, party in the back!"

A few comments: This gown is very well made. None of the seams "popped" after a day of wearing, buttons stayed buttoned, and the lace looked as crisp and beautiful at the end of the night as the beginning of the day. The bride used sticky tape to make sure the sides of the V neck stayed secure to ensure there would be no unintended "peep show". This gown was altered after purchase in the bust area and on the sides, due to gown sizing based on the largest measurement (hips). It was also hemmed a few inches so she could wear flats. Dress was dry cleaned at a location specializing in wedding gown dry cleaning. They had the dress at least 3 months to ensure no stains would come back up after sitting a few weeks. They did a truly wonderful job and the dress looks perfect. It comes with a cloth garment bag from the manufacturer, fabric swatches and extra buttons.
