I have worn this dress once for my wedding in October 2023.
I was looking for a classic, chic, comfortable dress, without too much bling. This was the first dress I tried on and I instantly fell in love with it.
It's "Louise", by the designer Jenny Yoo, in the colour Winter White.
It has sleeves that can be worn either on the shoulders or off. The sleeves are what really won me over! It has a fitted bodice, which then flows out into an a line skirt.
Throughout my day I felt beautiful, yet comfortable. It's a flattering dress, that has a very romantic feel and lots of movement.

Alterations

The tops of the sleeves are elasticated so I had them tightened slightly so they didn't fall down throughout the day
The bodice was taken in at the waist
The dress length was shortened, but I chose to leave a train
I'm 159cm, but I wore 9cm heels
Despite dry cleaning on one side of the dress there is a very small amount of discolouration to the edge of the train from dirt picked up from the floor
This could either be cleaned again or train shortened slightly to remove this
A dainty crystal belt was added to the front of the waistband - during dry cleaning this has lifted slightly, as shown in the video, but it could easily be tacked back on or taken off for a different belt
The dress fastens with a zip, the buttons are for show only (no fiddly buttoning up on the morning of the wedding!)
All alterations undertaken by a bridal seamstress
