DRESS:

This dress is the epitome of elegance! I tried on over 100+ gowns by every designer and there is no other gown like Monique Lhuillier’s Alexandra.

It is a dreamy, romantic dress featuring a gorgeous strapless sweetheart corset dress with a drop waist and unique sculpted ballgown with a full circular skirt. The full skirt comes with internal horsehair construction for skirt fullness and drapes, as well as a magnificent lace train.

The drop-waist elongates the torso beautifully and looks so flattering on, and is also fitted until the hip bone therefore highlighting your waist and bust.

This dress is made of white MH French chantilly lace on top of white underskirt. The dress feels light and airy (it feels very light while wearing it)

Length: I am 5’4 and wore 5 inch heels. If you are taller or shorter, there is enough fabric to alter the length.

Bolero: The Bolero is custom-made with lace long-sleeve and pearl button details on the sleeves. I chose to remove the bolero for parts of the wedding and it creates a beautiful second look.

Veil: I had a custom cathedral length veil created for the dress (retail: $950) which I can include for free.

About me: I am 5’4 and typically a size 4. In bridal size, this is a size 8 and there were some alternations made.

CONDITION:

The dress is in very good condition and professionally dry cleaned by J. Scheer, which is the only dry cleaning Monique Lhuillier recommends despite their very steep price ($1,800 to dry clean this dress).
My wedding was indoors and there are almost no signs of wear and no stains.

PRICING:

The price is for both the dress (retail ~$9000) and the bolero (retail ~$3000), which have to be purchased together. I paid $13,200 including tax.

I will also include a $950 custom veil for total value of $14,150.

I paid an additional $2,000 for alternation at Carine’s Bridal in Washington, DC.

The dress was also professionally cleaned by J. Scheer, the only place Monique Lhuillier recommends and the dry cleaning was $1,800. The total cost to me including everything was $17,950.
