Alexander McQueen, Custom Made

This is the most exquisite dress. I fell in love with it with the idea that I would be able to get it on. Unfortunately that hasn’t happened and I need a dress that fits!

Anyone looking at this listing will know the quality that is Alexander McQueen. This gown was a runway version and was bought from Net-a-Porter. It was eye-watering expensive and rightly so. The beadwork is sublime - there is a mix of beads and sequins. It is perfect for a winter wedding. And the one thing that I loved about it was that there is no train. It is a wedding dress that you haven’t seen a million times before. It is classy and elegant and very sophisticated. It is just too small for me. I am gutted. It is marked as a size 12 - I would say it is probably true to size. I am a size 12 bottom and it’s fine but my bust is more a 14, so it is just too tight. If you haven’t got a big bust, it would probably be a bonus. I am 5ft 8” and it is slightly too long for me with shoes on.

The dress is in perfect condition apart from needing a steam where it has been in storage waiting for me to lose weight. I do hope that someone snaps it up, so they can have their moment to shine.
