The Dress

Purchased this dress brand new in the color Ivory/Nude from a bridal shop in the Bay Area.

I'm 5'7" 125 lbs, usually a street size 2 and purchased the gown in a size 6 at the recommendation of the bridal shop. I wore 2.5 inch heels on the day of my wedding for a total height of 5'9.5". The dress was taken in a little bit taken in at the chest/sides to fit a chest size 2 or A/B cup, the straps were shortened slightly, a 3 point bustle was added to the train. No hemming was needed but another 1 point bustle was added to the inner nude lining to shorten it slightly and make it easier to step backwards/move around in.

I took it to the dry cleaners who actually did not recommend me getting it dry cleaned before selling since it was already in such good condition! There is some minor dirt/dust on the underside of the dress that is not visible on the outside. This was my reception dress and only worn for less than 2 hours before changing into a shorter dress for the dance floor.

It's labeled as a sheath dress online but the beading/draping enhances the hourglass shape! Soo stunning and got so many compliments!
