I wore the dress for 3 hours and switched to a party outfit after the speeches.

The dress is in beautiful flowy silk, and I did not need to make any changes to it. It fits perfectly.

Please note that the dress has been dry cleaned at a specialist wedding dry cleaner, but there are some stains on the hem of the dress that couldn't be fully removed with dry cleaning. I didn't want to wet clean the dress as it may crease the beautiful silk. You can barely see it when it's on, and once you were it, it will be stained from walking anyway again. This is reflected in the price of the dress here.

The Nova Cocotte is a gown with great historical influence, first designed for the Autumn-Winter 2005/06 Vive La Cocotte collection. The corset and neckline are inspired by fashionable high society women of the 18th-century – which sweeps across the shoulders and cinches at the waist. The skirt falls from the hip in a soft slim A-line, folding and flowing delicately to create a drape reminiscent of ancient Greek statues.
